First Bank of Berne gives to John Jay Center for Learning

Berne, IN - First Bank of Berne recently made a generous donation of $2,500.00 to the John Jay Center for Learning located at 101 S. Meridian in Portland. Kathy Carpenter, Branch Manager of First Bank of Berne's Portland Banking Center, presented the check to Cindy Cash, the Executive Director of the John Jay Center for Learning.
The recent donation, and a pledge of equal disbursements to follow over the next three years, will be used for interior window coverings designed for the entire John Jay Center facility.
The John Jay Center for Learning networks with several organizations throughout our community and the surrounding area. The Center is always ready to develop new programming which will enhance the lives and well-being of our area residents.
