First Bank of Berne Donates to A Friend's House

IN - "A Friend's House" of Bluffton is pleased to announce
that First Bank of Berne recently made a $2,000.00 donation to the
organization. Pictured above is Joni Reinhard, Customer Service

presenting the check to Pam Durdahl, Executive Director of AFH
Ministries; and Jessica Dettmer, Director of Operations.
Recently, anonymous donors came forward and offered to match each new donation to A Friend's House, dollar-for-dollar, up to $25,000. The matching offer must be a new donation, or above and beyond your 2011 pledge, and the offer is good July 1 through August 15. Pam Durdahl gratefully stated, "This $2,000 the bank has given us is now $4,000. What a blessing!"
"A Friend's House" is a safe place for women. The goal of AFH is to equip the women with not only the social skills, but with the professional and life skills needed to live healthy lives. AFH Ministries is a non-profit corporation that does not accept any government funding for the help they provide. Through the generous support of companies like First Bank of Berne and others, young women find a place to live, learn, and be loved.
