
Neuenschwander, Caffee Promoted

Charles E. Isch, President of First Bank of Berne has announced two promotions for the bank for the coming year.
Sharon Neuenschwander, VP, Human Resources, Trust Officer has been
named Senior Vice President/HR and Trust Officer of the bank. Sharon started her
career with the bank in 1973 as a bookkeeper and teller, and later became a loan
teller. In 1985 she began working in the trust department and in 1997 attained
the position of Trust Officer followed by Assistant Vice President in 1998.
Sharon began organizing the Human Resources department in 2000 and was promoted
to Vice President. In 2004 she was named as an Executive Officer of the bank.
Sharon and her husband Rick live in Berne and are members of the First Mennonite
Church where she serves as church secretary and participates in the worship
band.
Joe Caffee, Asst. VP Commercial Loans, has been named Vice President,
Commercial Lending. Joe, a graduate of South Adams High School, graduated from
Purdue University with a B.S. in Agricultural Education in 1999 and is a junior
at the Graduate School of Banking in Madison, Wisconsin. He serves as an officer
of the Indiana Society of Agri-Bankers. He is a local 4-H leader and serves on
the Jefferson Township Advisory Board and is also involved with Junior
Achievement. Joe and his wife Cheryl and daughters Grace and Jessa live in rural
Geneva. They are members of First Missionary Church where Joe teaches Sunday
school and serves as a deacon on the church board. He has been employed with
First Bank of Berne since 2002.
