First Bank of Berne helps Wells County Food Bank

IN - First Bank of Berne recently made a donation of $1000.00 to the
Wells County Food Bank. Pictured above is First Bank of Berne teller Jo

representative of the Bluffton Banking Center, presenting the check to
Connie Kaehr, Wells County Food Bank Coordinator.
The Wells County Food Bank is in great need again this year because of the current economic times. Thanks to community support last year, the food bank was able to serve well over 1100 individuals. They had enough supplies on hand to give each family food supplies, personal items and household items. Hopefully this year they will be able to help even more families.
As in the past, Connie expressed her gratitude and showed her appreciation for the gift from First Bank of Berne. "This is just wonderful and it couldn't have come at a better time. I hope that others in the community will realize the need and give as the always generous First Bank of Berne has done. Thank you so much," Kaehr stated.
