Berne, Ind. – First Bank of Berne made a $5,000 donation to the Feed My Starving Children MobilePack event. The bank committed to a match donation for the South Adams FFA Community Food Drive and agreed to donate $1 for every can donated up to $5,000. Presenting the check from First Bank of Berne are Tim Tobias, Kaitlyn Roby, Nathan Liechty, and Matt Voshell. Accepting the check on behalf of the South Adams FMSC MobilePack event is Ashley Buckingham.

The FFA Community Food drive partners with Compassionate Ministries to help support the community. Feed My Starving Children works to create nutritious formulas that meet the need of starving people around the world. FMSC works with food distributors to help bring these communities out of relief and into development.

The Feed My Starving Children MobilePack event will be the evening of March 16 for community members and March 17, 2023 for the South Adams student body. The event will require the community to pull together as they commit to packing 209,952 MannaPack meals.
