Boy Scouts of America Wabash Valley District encompasses multiple counties, including Adams, Wells, and Jay counties.  Boys and young men from ages 6-21 and young women ages 14-21 participate in activities that help them learn life skills while having fun.  Scouting emphasizes outdoor adventures and aims to teach our youth about Character, Citizenship, and Physical & Mental Fitness.

Friends of Scouting funds are used to provide scouting activities thought the year, adult leadership training for volunteers, and Camp Chief Little Turtle. Throughout the year scouts are involved in Cub Scout Day and Resident Camps, Scouts BSA Camporees, Klondike derbies, and many more fun and skill-building activities. Camp Chief Little Turtle is a 1200-acre camp near Pleasant Lake Indiana. While at camp, scouts learn perseverance, participate in patrol activities to accomplish daily tasks, and develop leadership skills.
