First Bank of Berne is proud to announce the hire of Melissa Skinner as Branch Manager. Melissa is well-known within the local business community and has positioned herself as a longtime advocate for the city of Berne. She brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to her new role.

First Bank of Berne employs a culture of service rooted in the local community. Melissa personifies this commitment. Her history, service, and forward-thinking attitude made her the right fit as Berne’s new Branch Manager.
Melissa was born and raised in Berne. She and her husband, Scott, ran a business here and established themselves as a positive influence within the local community. Prior to her appointment as Branch Manager with First Bank of Berne, Melissa served as the Executive Director for the Berne Chamber of Commerce. Her strong local ties to the business community give Melissa a deep appreciation for the professionals in the area, many of whom are First Bank of Berne Customers. In addition to her professional accolades, Melissa serves in a volunteer capacity with Connect To Careers of Adams County.

Melissa understands the daily challenge of providing excellent service in a fast-paced environment. It’s a challenge she’s ready to take on with the help of her team.

Melissa worked with First Bank of Berne in her professional roles prior to her appointment as Branch Manager, and already had firsthand knowledge of the bank’s culture of service.
