First Bank of Berne recently pledged funds totalling $25,000 to the South Adams Trails project connecting Berne and Geneva with a walking/biking trail for all to enjoy. The donation was presented by bank employees and accepted by representatives of the trail board. The South Adams Trails Board is working diligently to make their dream a reality. Of course this can only happen with the combined efforts of many persons and organizations. First Bank of Berne’s donation of $25,000 will be spread out over a five year period, helping South Adams Trails move toward their funding goals.
