Dan knows the mortgage industry well. With 20 years of experience as a home loan professional, Dan has weathered the ups and downs of the real estate market. He's ready to put his decades of experience to work for you. And here's the best part: All of Dan's experience is local!

Dan's commitment to finance is evident in his volunteer life as well. He serves as a classroom consultant for Junior Achievement, where he gives his time to teach business and economics to young people. Dan is also a member of the Finance Committee at First Missionary Church in Berne.

His experience both as a financial professional and as a member of the local community make him an invaluable member of the First Bank of Berne team.

Jennifer grew up near Peru and attended Maconaquah High School in Bunker Hill, Indiana. She began a mortgage lending career that now spans two decades and includes a variety of industry roles. Jennifer learned through experience that she enjoys working directly with customers and getting to know the people of her community. Building relationships with her clients and their families makes banking a fulfilling career for Jennifer.

Jennifer is an active citizen of the Miami County community. She serves on the Visual Ministry Team at Parkview United Methodist Church and works as a front-line volunteer for multiple organizations including the United Way, Harvesting Capabilities, De-Trash the Wabash, and the Salvation Army. Jennifer maintains an impressive professional profile as well. She graduated from the Indiana Bankers Mortgage Lending Program and is also a member of the Realtors Association of Central Indiana.

Jennifer's favorite part of mortgage lending is joining her customers at the closing table. Jennifer and her team work hard every day to earn the respect of their clients while making the mortgage process enjoyable. Jennifer loves helping people and even admits that she sometimes gets more excited than her homebuyers when she sees them achieving their dreams!

With five years of banking experience, Johanna brings a strong customer-focused approach to mortgage lending in the Van Wert community. She enjoys getting to know each borrower, understanding what is important to them, and helping make the mortgage process comfortable and easy to understand. Johanna is a graduate of Celina Christian School and studied Christian Education at Harvest Bible College.

Johanna’s connection to Van Wert extends beyond her work. She serves as Treasurer on the board of Main Street Van Wert and volunteers in various roles at Trinity Friends Church. Being involved locally allows her to build meaningful relationships with the people and families she serves and stay connected to the community’s continued growth.

Maddie is beginning her career in mortgage lending with a passion for helping local families find a place to call home. A graduate of Parkway High School, she is currently pursuing a degree in Financial Services, Banking and Wealth Management from Northwest State Community College, where she continues to build her knowledge of the financial services industry.

Growing up in the area has given Maddie an appreciation for the people and families who make up the local community. She looks forward to getting to know each customer personally, listening to what they hope to accomplish, and being approachable and responsive as they navigate the homebuying process.

Whether customers are preparing to purchase their first home or taking their next step in homeownership, she looks forward to providing personal attention and building relationships throughout the process.

With 21 years of experience in banking and mortgage lending, Tracy brings a strong understanding of the lending process to each customer she works with. Over the years, she has helped customers navigate financial decisions and find financing that fits their needs. She values taking the time to understand each customer’s situation and helping them feel informed throughout the process. For Tracy, mortgage lending is especially rewarding when she can help a customer take an important step toward owning a home.

Having grown up in Jay County, Tracy values the opportunity to help people in the community she calls home. She stays involved locally through the Jay County Public Library Board, Jay Community Center Board, Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Portland Foundation, and Rotary. That local connection carries into her work, where she focuses on understanding each customer’s needs and helping make the mortgage process easier to navigate.
