Bluffton, IN. — First Bank of Berne is proud to support the Friends Who Care Cancer Foundation with a donation that will help fund the Gospel Concert and Auction fundraiser benefiting Wells County residents battling cancer.
Friends Who Care was initiated with the deep desire to offer a lifeline for people facing cancer. The foundation provides financial assistance for expenses not covered by insurance, including medications, transportation to and from treatments, wigs, and other essential needs. Through community support and fundraising efforts, Friends Who Care helps ease the burden for individuals and families during an incredibly challenging time.
The donation from First Bank of Berne will assist with costs associated with the Gospel Concert and Auction fundraiser. All proceeds from this event go directly to helping Wells County residents in their fight against cancer, ensuring they receive the care and support they need.
Representing Friends Who Care at the check presentation was Steve Gerber, Gospel Concert & Auction Organizer. Representing First Bank of Berne were Dustin Arnold, Agribusiness Banker; Holly Heyerly, Mortgage Loan Originator; Gina Hon, Branch Manager; and Rory Antrim, Business Banker.
“Friends Who Care provides vital assistance to those in our community who are battling cancer,” said Gina Hon, Branch Manager at First Bank of Berne. “We are honored to support their mission and help make a difference for local families during such a difficult time.”
