Portland, IN. – First Bank of Berne made a $1,500 donation to Secret Families Christmas Charity of Jay County. The Purpose: To bring the Jay County Community together as a whole. Working together gathering resources and volunteering our time, we can provide Christmas to families right here in our own county that otherwise may not be having a Christmas this year.
How it Works: Volunteers get together on one day to shop, wrap, and deliver items purchased from donations raised. We serve the entire family providing a complete Christmas including clothes, toys, a Christmas tree, household goods, and a family Bible.
