Portland, IN. — First Bank of Berne is proud to support the Jayland Angel Tree program with a donation that will help provide Christmas gifts for children across Jay County and food assistance for elderly residents in need.
Jayland Angel Tree is dedicated to ensuring that children experience the joy of Christmas and that elderly members of the community receive support and care during the holiday season. Through generous community donations and volunteer efforts, the organization brings comfort and holiday cheer to individuals and families who may otherwise go without.
The donation from First Bank of Berne will help purchase Christmas gifts for local children and provide food baskets or gift cards to elderly residents, ensuring they feel valued and remembered during the holidays.
Representing the Jayland Angel Tree program at the check presentation was Denise Brewster, Chairman. Representing First Bank of Berne was Tanner McClain, Mortgage Loan Originator.
