Stillwater Hospice, formerly known as Visiting Nurse, provides services such as chronic disease management, hospice care, palliative care, and grief support. Their mission is to provide compassion, comfort, and guidance through life’s journey. They strive to support families to walk through last days and make meaningful moments possible. 

Stillwater Hospice relies on community support to continue to provide services. The funds donated from First Bank of Berne support the Holiday Memorial Tree Event. This event will take place on November 20, 2022, and includes a memorial service and lighting ceremony. There will be performances by the Fort Wayne Children’s Chamber Choir, a testimonial from an individual who has experienced Stillwater Hospice Service Firsthand, and a moment of silence to remember those loved and lost.
