Portland, IN - First Bank of Berne recently made a $1,000 donation to Jay Randolph Developmental Services in Portland. Branch Manager Tracy Carpenter presented the check to Traci Gross, JRDS Director of Fund Development and Administrative Services.

Jay-Randolph Developmental Services (JRDS) is a private non-profit community social service agency serving people with developmental disabilities. JRDS services are person-centered, individualized and provided according to the needs and preferences of the person served. The following examples are only a few services they provide: Residential Group Living Services, Habilitation Training Program, Community Waiver Services, Day Services Programs and more.

JRDS is currently launching their Fiscal year 2021 Annual Fund Campaign with a goal to help more individuals with special needs live their lives with dignity. Their goal to reach $27,500 by June 2021 will enable them to provide homes, work, and skills that these and other individuals need to continue to be a valued member in their community.
