Ben is a Mortgage Loan Originator with First Bank of Berne. He earned his degree in Business Management from IPFW and is a graduate of Adams Central High School. Go, Jets! Ben was raised on a grain farm and also assisted with a nearby hog operation throughout his youth.

He has worked in the banking industry for over twelve years and joined First Bank of Berne’s mortgage lending team in 2022. Ben is committed to Adams County and to helping home buyers achieve their dreams, especially in today’s tight real estate market. He is grateful for the opportunity to work, lend, and serve within the local community.

Ben is a member of the Adams Central School Board. He also serves as a board member and past president of Habitat for Humanity of Adams County.

Tanner came to First Bank of Berne two years ago with industry experience and a desire to work in a value-driven environment. With six years in the business, she knows that a company’s values are important to everyone involved in the loan transaction. Tanner gets to know her customers and seeks to develop a business relationship that lasts well beyond the closing table.

Tanner graduated from Jay County High School and later earned her degree in Business Administration. Her education, combined with her hometown roots, give Tanner excellent perspective into the local real estate market. She is a top resource for your home purchase and refinance needs!

Jennifer grew up near Peru and attended Maconaquah High School in Bunker Hill, Indiana. She began a mortgage lending career that now spans two decades and includes a variety of industry roles. Jennifer learned through experience that she enjoys working directly with customers and getting to know the people of her community. Building relationships with her clients and their families makes banking a fulfilling career for Jennifer.

Jennifer is an active citizen of the Miami County community. She serves on the Visual Ministry Team at Parkview United Methodist Church and works as a front-line volunteer for multiple organizations including the United Way, Harvesting Capabilities, De-Trash the Wabash, and the Salvation Army. Jennifer maintains an impressive professional profile as well. She graduated from the Indiana Bankers Mortgage Lending Program and is also a member of the Realtors Association of Central Indiana.

Jennifer’s favorite part of mortgage lending is joining her customers at the closing table. Jennifer and her team work hard every day to earn the respect of their clients while making the mortgage process enjoyable. Jennifer loves helping people and even admits that she sometimes gets more excited than her homebuyers when she sees them achieving their dreams!

Dan’s commitment to finance is evident in his volunteer life as well. He serves as a classroom consultant for Junior Achievement, where he gives his time to teach business and economics to young people. Dan is also a member of the Finance Committee at First Missionary Church in Berne.
