Decatur, IN. — First Bank of Berne recently made a donation to Festival de Hispanos to help fund festival expenses and further its efforts to bring Hispanic culture, traditions, food, and goods to Decatur and the surrounding area.
Festival de Hispanos brings people together from Decatur, neighboring communities, and as far as Fort Wayne to celebrate and learn more about Hispanic culture. Authentic Hispanic vendors offer food, clothing, goods, and other cultural experiences, giving attendees a firsthand look at the traditions represented throughout the festival.
As a community bank, First Bank of Berne invests in local organizations, programs, and events that make a positive impact in the areas it serves. Contributions to events such as Festival de Hispanos help create meaningful experiences, encourage connections among residents, and contribute to vibrant places to live and work.
Representing Festival de Hispanos at the check presentation was Carson Canales, Festival Director. Representing First Bank of Berne was Jessica Zuercher, Decatur Branch Manager.
“Festival de Hispanos provides a unique way for people throughout our area to come together and experience Hispanic culture right here in Decatur,” said Jessica Zuercher, Decatur Branch Manager. “Investing in local events like this is one way we can help strengthen connections and contribute to the places our customers and employees call home.”
