Bluffton, IN. — First Bank of Berne is proud to support United Way of Wells County with a charitable donation benefiting the organization’s ongoing work to improve lives and strengthen the community.
United Way of Wells County works to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of the community to advance the common good. By bringing together local partners, donors, volunteers, and programs, the organization addresses critical needs in Youth Opportunity, Financial Stability, and Healthy & Resilient Communities throughout Wells County.
Proceeds from Power of the Purse support United Way of Wells County’s local initiatives, with a special focus on early childhood and family support through Bright Beginnings. This includes impactful programs such as Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, Bookends tutoring, and other local efforts designed to help children and families in Wells County thrive.
Representing United Way of Wells County at the check presentation was Ben Renkenberger, Executive Director & CEO. Representing First Bank of Berne was Gina Hon, Bluffton Branch Manager.
