Bluffton, IN. — First Bank of Berne is proud to support the Markle Chamber of Commerce with a charitable donation to help further its mission of strengthening local businesses and fostering community engagement in the Town of Markle.

Through partnerships with local businesses, volunteers, and civic leaders, the Chamber plays a key role in creating events that celebrate community pride and encourage local involvement.

This donation from First Bank of Berne will help sponsor a live band for the Town of Markle’s annual Fourth of July celebration at Markle Park. The event will also include food trucks and conclude with a fireworks show for the community to enjoy, creating a family-friendly evening that brings residents and visitors together.

Representing the Markle Chamber of Commerce at the check presentation were Mike Grant, Town of Markle Operations Manager, Melissa Mounsey, chamber Vice President, and Lisa Federspiel, Chamber President. Representing First Bank of Berne were Dustin Arnold, Agribusiness Banker, Rory Antrim, Business Banker, and Gina Hon, Bluffton Branch Manager.

“We are proud to support the Markle Chamber of Commerce and the positive impact they continue to make in the community,” said Gina Hon, Bluffton Branch Manager. “Events like the Fourth of July celebration help bring people together and highlight the strong sense of community that makes Markle a great place to live and do business.”
