First Bank of Berne Supports Adams‑Wells Special Olympics

Bluffton, IN. — First Bank of Berne is proud to support Adams‑Wells Special Olympics with a charitable donation to help further its mission of keeping consumers active, social, and proud of their accomplishments.

Adams‑Wells Special Olympics provides meaningful athletic and social opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Through sports participation and community engagement, the organization helps athletes build confidence, stay active, form friendships, and experience the pride that comes from teamwork and personal achievement.

This donation from First Bank of Berne will help send seven Special Olympians and three coaches to the Terre Haute State Track Meet for four days, as well as assist with the purchase of new basketball uniforms. These resources ensure athletes can compete safely, confidently, and with pride while representing Adams and Wells counties.

Representing Adams-Wells Special Olympics were Lori Farmer, Coach and Fund‑Raising Manager; Coralee Bowley, County Coordinator; Olympians are; Tanner Ginger-Farmer, Adam Mcleod and Paula Nolder. Representing First Bank of Berne were Gina Hon, Bluffton Branch Manager; Kaitlyn Roby, Berne Branch Manager; Jessica Zuercher, Decatur Branch Manager; Rory Antrim, Business Banker and Dustin Arnold, Ag Banker.

“We are honored to support Adams‑Wells Special Olympics and the incredible athletes and volunteers who make this program possible,” said Gina Hon, Bluffton Branch Manager. “Their dedication helps individuals stay active, connected, and confident, and First Bank of Berne is proud to stand behind that mission.”
