Bluffton, IN. — First Bank of Berne is proud to support Bluffton Parks & Recreation with a charitable donation to help further its mission of coordinating and providing sports events and programming for the community.
Bluffton Parks & Recreation plays a vital role in offering accessible, community-oriented sports opportunities and wellness activities for individuals of all ages. Through organized events, classes, and recreational programs, the organization encourages healthy lifestyles, community engagement, and year‑round wellbeing.
This donation from First Bank of Berne will help the organization host wellness events and keep them accessible to the community, ensuring that families and individuals can continue to enjoy high‑quality programming at little to no cost.
Representing Bluffton Parks & Recreation at the check presentation were Laurie Baumgartner, Sports Coordinator; Alex Penrod, Maintenance Supervisor; Jonah Baumgartner, Assistant Maintenance Supervisor; and Blake Kizer, Assistant Maintenance Supervisor. Representing First Bank of Berne were Gina Hon, Bluffton Branch Manager; Dustin Arnold, Agribusiness Banker; and Holly Heyerly, Mortgage Loan Originator.
