Decatur, IN. — First Bank of Berne is proud to support Decatur Main Street with a charitable sponsorship to help further the organization’s mission of promoting downtown Decatur as a vibrant place to live, work, and visit.
Decatur Main Street supports local businesses and works to strengthen the downtown district through community events, promotional efforts, and direct investments in revitalization projects. These efforts include improvements such as Founders Park, the Facade Program, and other initiatives that enhance the downtown experience. The organization also promotes downtown Decatur on a regional and national level to attract visitors and raise awareness of all the community has to offer.
This sponsorship from First Bank of Berne will help Decatur Main Street attract visitors and support the planning and execution of popular downtown events and activities for the community to enjoy. These events include Downtown Decatur Days, the Christmas Open House, pub crawls, and other activities that bring people together while supporting local businesses.
Representing Decatur Main Street at the check presentation was Taylor Braun, Executive Director. Representing First Bank of Berne was Jessica Zuercher, Decatur Branch Manager.
