Peru, Indiana — First Bank of Berne is proud to support the Peru Amateur Circus with a donation to help fund their unique and long-standing youth performance program. The donation was presented by Jennifer Ash, Branch Manager of First Bank of Berne’s Peru office, to Kathi Greene, Secretary of the Peru Amateur Circus.
The Peru Amateur Circus is home to one of the most extraordinary youth programs in the country. Each summer, local youth are given the chance to train and perform in a full-scale circus production, showcasing acts such as tumbling, unicycling, aerial feats, and even the flying trapeze. The season culminates in a series of performances under their own big top in mid-July—bringing magic and community pride to the heart of Peru, Indiana.
Funds from First Bank of Berne’s donation will support critical operational needs of the show, including building maintenance, equipment upgrades, and performance logistics—ensuring that this beloved tradition continues to inspire and uplift both participants and spectators alike.
“At First Bank of Berne, we are honored to support programs like the Peru Amateur Circus that enrich the lives of youth and strengthen community ties,” said Jennifer Ash.
